Fernando Cocco was originally set up as a single proprietorship in 1969 for wholesale only: it started selling trinkets, costume jewellery and gifts in a 100 sqm shop.
In 1973, the company moved to larger premises in an area with higher visibility and bigger trade traffic.
These features, together with the reliability and increasing assortment of items, drove to an impressive business expansion.
In 1984, after the death of the founder Mr Fernando Cocco, his son Luciano and his daughter Carla took up the business and transformed the sole proprietorship into a proper company.

The generational gap brings about some good news: a fresher corporate image and a wider range of products, including luggage, leather accessories, neck scarves, etc.... In the years to come Cocco gets more and more appreciated by its suppliers who make it sole trader for some collections and designers’ brands.
Customers grow in number and expand in the territory: the name Cocco is a landmark in the whole Country thanks for its variety, originality and quality. In 1996, Cocco is among the first companies to move to the ‘Ibisco’ wholesale trading centre in Città Sant’Angelo, just a few minutes’ drive from Pescara.
The new premises owned by the company cover an area of about 1,500 sqm, large shop windows and wide showroom with parking and centralized services.
More and more traders, both Italian and foreign, choose to grow and expand their business availing themselves of the advantages offered by Cocco company, certainly one of the best wholesale suppliers for business operators.
